Financial Aid Work Study:
The Financial Aid Office work-study position assists the department with general work office support duties. This entails greeting walk-in students, answering basic financial aid questions over the phone, filing projects, data entry and other office duties as assigned. The work-study can work up to 19 hours per week during the office hours of 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Educational Assistant at Pinewood Elementary School-Federal Work Study:
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Educational Assistant (EA) position provides academic support and mentorship to elementary-aged students at Pinewood Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska. The EA helps students with reading and math comprehension, fluency, literacy skills, and any other curriculum set forth by the teacher(s). The EA works closely with the school principal, teachers, and any after-school program directors to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students. In conjunction with the school principal, the EA will select their work schedule each semester, noting that the maximum number of hours worked per week is 19.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a current Clarkson College student eligible for federal work-study as determined by FASFA.
Must be able to travel to and complete work hours on-site at Pinewood Elementary School, located at 6717 N. 63rd Street, Omaha, NE 68152.
Must exhibit a desire to work with children by supporting the classroom teacher in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for young students.
Previous experience working with elementary school students in a tutoring, mentoring, or teaching capacity preferred but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment is required.
Must be reliable and punctual and committed to fulfilling scheduled hours.

After-School Reading Tutoring Assistant:
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) After-School Reading Tutoring Assistant position consists of a Clarkson College FWS student providing children tutoring for reading at a local federal, state, or public agency. This position requires students to be motivated and compassionate as they assist elementary-aged students through academic support and mentorship. In addition, the After-School Reading Tutoring Assistant helps students with reading comprehension, fluency, and literacy skills. The After-School Reading Tutoring Assistant works closely with the school site directors and after-school program directors to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications
Must be a current Clarkson College student and Federal Work-Study eligible as determined by FASFA.

Interprofessional Learning Center, Work Study:
The IPLC work-study position assists with organizing and stocking linens, Sharps containers, and gloves. In addition, this position provides support during set-up/clean-up for faculty simulations and skills. Also, assists with manikin and equipment cleaning, running manikins for simulations, and software support/updates for all computers. The IPLC work-study position also supports the IPLC Administrator with clerical projects, such as recording keeping, updating bulletin boards, laminating, and other duties as assigned.
