Join a student-centered English faculty team committed to helping learners build confidence and skill as writers and communicators. This full-time role includes a 5â??5 teaching load during fall and spring semesters (with summers off) and involves teaching both face-to-face and online courses. Faculty use a few common assessments across sections while maintaining flexibility in course design. Teaching responsibilities may include Composition I, Composition II, and Writing for the Workplace.
We are seeking an engaging, student-focused instructor who values active learning, writing as a process, and supportive feedback that promotes growth. The ideal candidate is committed to serving diverse and underresourced student populations, fostering inclusive and interactive classroom environments, and contributing to a collaborative department dedicated to student success. Opportunities for overload (additional classes) are available after the first year.
