Serve as an assistant in Pediatric Neurology bench laboratory, working with small animals, assisting with experiments, collecting data and participating in publishing results. Play an active role in developing therapeutic targets for treating epilepsy and its comorbidities. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, team-oriented, and expanding research group in the epilepsy laboratory and participate at all levels of the project, including but not limited to rodent models of epilepsy, immunohistochemistry, and cellular and molecular assessments, e.g., immunohistochemistry, western blot, and PCR genotyping, as well as EEG analysis of seizure/epilepsy phenotypes.
