Patient ratio: 4:1 OR 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing. Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? YES Top diagnosis/procedures: Stroke, Transplant, PD. Common equipment used: Dynamaps, Bladder Scanner, Doppler. Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Drips - Insulin (DKA and GMAT), Cardizem, Nitro for BP, heparin, Amio, Pulmonary HTN Drips. Common medications given: Most regular meds. Medications specific are Time Critical Meds for transplant patients. EPIC Charting Scrub Color Galaxy Blue
